This monastery, situated near the Old Mission, is home to an order of cloistered Franciscan nuns, the Poor Clare Nuns. The order has chapters around the world, observing the three vows of religion: obedience, chastity, and poverty as well as their own fourth vow of enclosure.
Its chapel is generally open from 7:00 AM (when daily mass is celebrated) to 5:15 PM. It provides a quiet and prayerful space for those who may wish to stop in for a moment of peace and recollection.
